Section 1: About Me

About me:
Hello! My name is Levy. I'm a information security student with a strong passion in security, privacy and understanding how systems work underneath the hood. I'm interested in hardening networks, analyze vulnerabilities, and solve the fun puzzles that is ethical hacking. Its very exciting how the field is always ever evolving, as there's always something new to learn or another cool technology to learn.
As a student i love hands on problem solving. Whether it be digging through log files in a capture the flag match, or trying to outsmart a attacker with building a honeypot for them to access. With 6 years of using Linux as my main Operating system I've been developing a solid foundations in Linux, both in the server and client sides for security and networking. I hope to continue to expand my skills with more certifications, courses, and real world projects.
Outside of academics i like to explore other hobbies like Homelabbing, and keeping up to date with the tech news. I also enjoy playing Tabletop games and reading manwhas, which keep my problem solving muscle active and keeps me creative, and balanced. My 10 year goal is to contribute to a career in information security to further the ways to protect people and the data they value most.
